Bring Bill’s Experience and Passion For Changing Behavior To Your Next Event

“Wow! We must get you back Bill!” – Hr Forum, Greece

“Best speaker of the conference.” - ASSE Attendee

“I had the pleasure to attend your presentation in the Talent Management Forum last week in Athens. It was actually the most interesting topic for me, but with the less time dedicated to it!!

Bill Sims, Jr., is President of The Bill Sims Company, Inc.  For more than 40 years, the Bill Sims Company has created behavior-based recognition programs that have helped large and small firms to inspire better performance from employees and increase bottom line profits.

Bill is currently writing a book entitled Green Beans & Ice Cream-The Definitive Recipe for Employee Engagement, Motivation and Recognition. More than 1,000 firms have benefited from consulting with Bill, including Dupont, Siemens VDO, Coca-Cola, and Ford, to name a few. For information regarding booking one of these workshops for your association or company please email bill.sims@billsims.net for details.

Your presentation was one of the main reasons I attended the forum. Therefore I was delighted that I could eventually have more material on the topic and so I decided to email my request for all the material you provide (Info on Smartcard behaviour based recognition, Blue Ribbon story & blue ribbon, complete copy of your presentation on video & powerpoint, links to the research referenced in this workshop). Looking forward to hearing from you.”

  • “You visited Athens for just 2 days, yet you left your mark!
  • You impressed an audience at the Talent Management Forum of 18 May (I personally saw many evaluation forms with a 5 out of 5 score, which is rare for Greeks)
  • You created a ‘fan’ mail among the audience (I thank you for copying me on it)
  • You generated an enquiry for partnership

“Wow! We must get you back. I was speaking on the phone with the colleagues running conferences in Cyprus this week, and I mentioned your name as a future speaker on their HR event. Something will come up, for 2008, I expect.. Thank you very much for all you did for my company and us” – ASTD

I am the VP of Member Involvement for the Richmond, VA chapter of ASTD here in the US. I also founded and manage our chapter’s Executive Share Group designed for training executives responsible for the strategic direction of the training function within their corporation. Each corporation represented has a minimum of 1000 employees. Since founding the group in April 2008, it has become abundantly clear to me that training executives recognize the need that they and their internal clients have regarding understanding the science of behavior and how that relates to improving performance. Bill addresses the essential issues clearly and effectively.

Registrations for Bill’s presentation increased 32% over our highest headcount for any event over the past 12 months. It was standing room only.

Bill’s energy and presentation content kept the crowd engaged. It was clearly a highlight for our chapter as I look back over the past 2 years. I can heartily recommend Bill for any event you are planning.

If I can answer any questions that you might have, please let me know.

Sitting on the board of the Richmond chapter of ASTD, I am very sensitive to presentations that are simply sales presentations.  I’m afraid I’ve been the most vocal about improving the quality of our presentations and steering away from sales pitches.  I also founded our Executive Share Group in early 2008 for C-level managers for our chapter.  As you might imagine, they are even more sensitive to the issue.

I found Bill respectful for the need to bring value to our members and to stay way from a sales presentation.  Bill’s presentation provides a helpful overview of the science and a variety of perspectives regarding the use of positive reinforcement in the workplace that would be helpful for any attendee.  Bill agreed to our needs and delivered a presentation that was a bulls-eye.  He is a man of his word and he is a great presenter.

You won’t be disappointed and there is a zero- level of risk for surprises.  The only surprises you’ll have will be good ones—those related to the positive response from the attendees, which was our experience.  The participant responses were outstanding

If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know.
